Farhad Humayun’s Riot studio, Pakistan’s premier studio for music production is now a full-fledged film production facility.
The custom built 2000 square feet space sports 17ft high ceilings for optimum lighting results and is sound proof for live voice recording.
Operational since 2006; the music studio has recorded top artists like Atif Aslam, Overload, Noori, Strings and Shafqat Amanat Ali among others. Talking about the new direction that Riot Productions is taking, a visibly excited Farhad said,
“The present film boom is a very welcome and positive step towards enhancing the quality of the Pakistani cinematic experience. We aim to support this through the provision of high end technical support to Pakistani cinema and videography. Riot Productions offers excellent post production support with super fast machines using GeForce 980 Ti Extreme graphics card, 64GB DDR4 2800MHz RAM, and Dual Core Intel Xeon Processors. The studio can now offer shooting and post production as a one window operation, under the management of trained and experienced professionals of the film industry.”
The fact that actor/director Shaan’s latest film ‘Arth 2’ is being shot at Riot studios further substantiates the fact that the facility offers the very best in terms of space, comfort and technical support. Corporations are also catching on as Pepsi, Nestle, Coke, Sprite, Mountain Dew & Mobilink have all been working at Riot Studios both for audio and video regularly.
Farhad also mentioned that his mother, well-known actor/director Navid Shahzad is a partner in the film company while the workforce and team of Visual Prophecy manage the shoots as well as post production.
