Newbie Bilal Abbas is certainly on right track, after winning hearts with a power-packed performance in debut drama serial, Dumpukht, he has now signed his second big project, Rasm-e-Duniya opposite Bin Roye star Armeena Rana Khan.
Produced by Abdullah Seja of iDreams Entertainment, it has been directed by Roomi Insha of Mein Adhuri fame whereas Imran Nazir has jotted down the script.
The actor while sharing details about the drama said that it would be a love triangle.
“It’s a cute love story with a shades of hatred, revenge and betrayal dominating the script besides featuring an interesting love triangle between me, Armeena, and Sami,” he said.
Bilal Abbas Khan and Armeena Rana Khan have played childhood lovers in the drama.
“It’s a story of middle class people living in joint-family setup where happiness surrounds in the beautiful relationships of chacha, phuppi, dada and dadi,” he added.
Just like Dumpukht, here too we’ll see Bilal Abbas Khan in a romantic avatar.
“I think my directors like me more in roles of sad romantic hero and here too I am playing rebellious forlorn lover,” he added.
The ensemble cast also included Samina Peerzada, Nida Mumtaz and Javed Sheikh.
The shooting of the drama serial has already started in Lahore and it is expected to air on ARY Digital in the first quarter of the coming year.
Bilal Abbas Khan is also making his film debut with Mehtab Rashidis’ son directorial project, Thora Jee Le.
