So, this is going to be my first post on the blog. Although I have expected it to be fun and quirky giving a brief introduction about me but it is not going to be the case. As I will be talking about a café launch recently held in the city.
A friend and ex-colleague invited me to a café launch and as I couldn’t say no to him I went there with much expectations in my mind.
Renowned fitness center Club M as a part of their expansion plans has launched a one of its own kind café, Social M, within the club premises at Khaybane-e-Bukhari near Café Zouk.
As soon as I entered the café the eccentric wall with musical instruments like guitar and piano placed on it grabbed my attention.
It was enough to give me impression that music was vital inspiration while designing café décor. Later, the café owner Mustafa Umer further confirmed it to me.
“I love to play guitar as a hobby and when the idea to lunch a café clicked my mind I knew music would going to be an important part of it,” he said.
The lyrics of famous English rock bands Beatles and Elvis Presley at the top wall of the café also looked fascinating.
The well-decorated café with relaxing ambience although altogether served as an amazing dining experience but being a foodie I was more interested in tempting list of food items in the menu.
I started off with chicken sticks served with barbeque sauce. Next one was small burger. Although it looked tempting but it didn’t taste that well – the chicken pattie was juicy and delicious but bun was dry.
The most disappointing was dessert which appeared to be a small bread piece with a jam spread on it and a few thin slices of fruits placed over it.
Besides tempting cuisines the café also offered special health care facilities including manicure, pedicure massage room and VIP lounge.
A library is dedicated for book lovers to spend some time alone while reading their favorite book over the sip of coffee.
You can also sit and enjoy with your friends while sitting in bar cart and main lounge.
If someone is aiming to unwind after a rigorous workout at gym then Social M it’s a great place to socialize and hangout with friends.
