Surviving controversies and hatred from across the border, Mahira Khan Bollywood debut film, Raees, has finally released in India – but surprising our Pakistani actress fails to deliver her best in it.
After the successful debut of Mahira Khan Humsafar co-star, Fawad Khan in India we have been anticipating a bright future for her in Bollywood. Unfortunately, things takes a worst turn for Mahira – initially, the unease at border stops her from promoting her film across the border and now the film critics have not given verdict in her favour.
While Indian media is all praise for King Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for their stellar acts in the film, they hardly appreciate Pakistani star. Apart from a couple of film critics, most of Indian media doesn’t find Mahira Khan’s performance impressive.
The only positive review comes from renowned film critic Taran Adarsh as he thoroughly enjoys Mahira Khan’s performance in Raaes.
