Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malal Yousufzai turned heads while making debut at the red carpet of Oscars 2023 along with her husband Aseer Malik. The social activist wore sequin-covered hooded gown from Ralph Lauren Collection.
She paired her ensemble with jewelry from Fred Leighton that was previously owned by Queen Soraya Tarzi of Afghanistan, who was a legendary activist herself during the 20th century. Malala was shining bright wearing 1920s diamond briolette pendant earrings in platinum and a 19th century diamond navette-shaped ring. She also wore an Emerald Flower Ring from Santi Jewels.

Malal’s moment with Jimmy Kimmel
Jimmy Kimmel was called a ‘national disgrace’ when viewers said he ‘harassed’ Taliban gunshot survivor Malala Yousafzai during a weird Oscars 2023 segment. The Nobel Peace Prize recipient, 25, was noticeably uncomfortable when the host, 55, approached her during a break in the action and asked her a strange question regarding the’spit-gate’ controversy involving Chris Pine and Harry Styles.
The host read out a query from a supporter named Joanne, saying: “‘She asked, your work on human rights and education for women and children is an inspiration–as the youngest Nobel prize winner in history, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?
Malala had an uncertain response before saying, “‘I only talk about peace”
A breezy Kimmel retorted: ‘You know what, that’s why you’re Malala and nobody else is. That’s a great answer, Malala. The winner is malala-land, everybody.’
