This year Ramadan transmission on Geo TV is not only dedicated to Aamir Liaquat preachy transmission but the channel has also decided to run a special drama serial, tentatively titled as Dekho Chand Nazar Aya.
Directed by Najaf Bilgarami and produced by Aijaz Aslam the drama has an ensemble star cast including Sajid Hasan, Ayesha Toor, Naveed Raza, Tahir Kazmi, Fawad, Faria Hasan, Maham Nizami and Sarah Khan.
The drama lead actor Naveed Raza while talking about the drama serial said it addressed the serious issue of class difference and its impact on the lives of individuals living together under one roof.
“The drama highlights a very important issue of class difference and shows a struggle of a middle class girl to prove her worth as a great human being,” he said.
He further added that the story primarily revolved around Sarah Khan, a helpless daughter-in-law belonging to a lower middle class. She faced serious opposition from her tyrannical in-laws who treated her ill for being lower in stature.
Maham Nizami and Ayesha Toor are playing the role of evil bahus of the family. The 32-episodes long drama serial will air every day in Ramadan including two Eid special episodes. Check out some exclusive images:
