Hindi Medium star Saba Qamar is now all set to start working in her next project, Badshah Begum, which is expected to be a classic play about Mughal era.
The actress will play a pivotal role in the drama. Giving a little hint about the storyline the actress in her latest interview said that it will feature some historical events.
“It’s a story of the Mughal era and will feature some historical events that took place in that time. Some of the issues the play will highlight include exploitation of women and sibling rivalry among others, “the actress said.
Written by Saji Gul of O Rangreza famed, the drama will be produced by Rafay Rashdi of Moomal Production and directed by Farooq Rind.
The rest of the cast of the drama hasn’t been finalized yet.
Rafay Rashdi has recently shared a picture on Instagram where he could be seeing reading the script of the drama.
